The Last Lecture

Today is a sad yet beautiful day. Sad because the world has lost a great man. Beautiful because his dying words have touched millions including myself. If you've never heard of Randy Pausch or seen his "Last Lecture," I hope you click on the YouTube video below because it may just change your life.

I came across Randy's "Last Lecture" a few months ago after failing my first semester in Med School. His lecture was posted on YouTube as "Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams." Needless to say, at a time when I felt my childhood dreams fading, his inspirational lecture changed everything. I don't want to talk too much about the lecture because I'd rather let him do the talking. Trust me, watching him speak is MUCH better than reading about it.

So, today I am incredibly saddened by his passing because I feel the world is a lesser place without someone like him. I also think there is no better tribute to him than to help share his legacy with the world. So, please watch the video the whole way through, down to the last second. It's long (1:16:27) but it is so worth it.
